MyFamily helps families manage calendars, activities, tasks, duties, invitations, recipes, and related household information. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to users.

Information we collect

We may collect and store the following information:

  • Account information such as your name, email address, and Google account identity.
  • Family data such as member names, roles, invitations, schedules, tasks, duties, activities, events, and recipes.
  • Google Calendar data required to create, read, or sync calendars and events that you explicitly connect.
  • Device or integration data needed for features such as mobile push notifications or Telegram linking.
  • Basic technical logs required to secure, operate, and troubleshoot the service.

How we use information

  • To authenticate users and manage access to family data.
  • To create, display, update, and synchronize family schedules, calendars, activities, and tasks.
  • To send invitations, notifications, and service-related communications.
  • To improve reliability, monitor errors, and protect the service from abuse.

Google data

If you connect Google Calendar, MyFamily accesses only the Google data needed for the features you enable. Google data is used to support calendar creation, calendar syncing, event management, and related family scheduling features. We do not sell Google user data.

Children and family member data

Families may store information about household members, including children, for scheduling and coordination purposes. The account owner or invited family members are responsible for the content they add to the service and for ensuring they have authority to manage that information.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Data may be shared with service providers that help us operate the app, such as hosting, authentication, email delivery, push notification, and Google API infrastructure, only as needed to provide the service.

Retention and deletion

We retain data while accounts and families remain active, and as otherwise needed for security, legal compliance, and legitimate operational purposes. If you want your account or family data deleted, contact us using the email below.
